My Recent Holiday :)

Hello! it's me again, this is my 2nd blog post and for my 2nd post ill be telling you about me going to Singapore at just 2 or 3 weeks ago. I went there for some special occasion of my mom having a concert there. Of course i need to skip school for a few days which is totally fine. My mom is a singer here and she have a concert there with 2 of her friends. I bring my best friend with me and her name is Anya. She goes to school here too and of course she is allowed to skip school for a few days too.

Going to this trip even though i only went there for a few days but it was a lot of fun.First its so fun because there are lots of people that is going and lots of crews, dancers, managers, and all of the people that work for the concert. Also it was also my birthday so it was so fun when i get to celebrate it there. When we arrived at Singapore we went to the Marina Bay Sands, Thats where were staying and also the place where the concert will be held at. Even though we just landed at the afternoon me and my best friend still have time to shop of course because the hotel itself have a mall with it. 

The next day when my mom is rehearsing really hard for the concert me ,my best friend ,my sister, my sister's friends and my uncles went to Universal Studios Singapore its a really fun theme park and basically the first reason why me and my best friend is so excited to go to Singapore. We had a lot of fun there, although me and my best friend split with my uncles and my phone doesn't really work. So we look around for my uncles which we can't find and we were thinking of getting to the MRT alone just the two of us, But finally we found them at the exit and we went home together. 

The next day we went to Orchard Road just for a few hours cause at that night its my mom's concert so we don't have much time. We ended up only buying just a few stuff which were so disappointed but at least we get to buy stuff and took lots of selfies. By the time we got to the hotel, we got ready as fast as we can and head down to the theater at Marina Bay Sands and watch my mom's concert. It was a lot of fun and my mom sang beautifully and i had a few tears when i saw her sang solo for this one song. 

It was a really great trip and me and my best friend was devastated we have to go home but we had a lot of fun and we like to go to another trip again together.

An Abundance Of Katherines

Halo, My name is Amabel 

I'm 14 years old and i'm from Global Jaya International School in Indonesia. 

Currently, i'm reading a book called "An Abundance Of Katherines". The author of this book is John Green. Yes, John Green is famous for making one of his bestsellers book called "The Fault In Our Stars" also another book called "Paper Town". John Green is a really creative author and have always exciting and amazing stories from most of the his book that i read. He is now accomplished to make a movie out of it from the book "The Fault In Our Stars".

A short summary of the book that i'm reading right now is actually much more different than TFIOS (The Fault In Our Stars). This book is about a young boy named Colin Singleton. For this boy, when it comes to dating someone his type is always for a girl named Katherine. He dated lots of Katherines, to be exact he got dumped by all Katherines, nineteen times. 

Basically i just started to read this book about a week ago and i just read the first chapter of this book and starting to read the second chapter. In the first chapter, Colin just graduated from high school and just got dumped by the last Katherine of his life. He then got home and take a long bath. He seemed really sad and desperate. When Colin's parents got home, his parents talked to him how Katherine actually called his parents about what happend. They talked and how his parents is really supportive if him, but at the end Colin felt he's to sad to talk about it so he just got to his room and look at his yearbook and read what Katherine said to him. 

So far its a really great story, for a girl like me, i don't really read that much but sometimes i actually do read if the story is interesting and it makes me really want to know what happend next. Usually if i have nothing to do ill read but i don’t read everyday so i only read occasionally. I will continue to read to the next chapter.
